The Mad River 40 is a lightweight and packable down sleeping bag in a classic mummy shape – perfect for those who want a good night's sleep after a day out on the trail. With 650 fill-power duck down, it combines low weight with high thermal efficiency and a small packed volume. The chemical-free ExpeDry™ treatment ensures that the down dries quickly and retains its loft even when exposed to moisture from sweat, condensation, or high humidity.

The sleeping bag features a full-length, snag-free zipper on the left side and a shorter zipper on the right side for flexible ventilation. The anatomically designed footbox provides extra space and insulation for the feet, while an insulated draft collar prevents heat from escaping during the night. An internal storage pocket for small items and included storage and compression bags mean you're always ready to pack up and go.
