The La Sportiva TX5 EVO MID GTX is a durable, waterproof, and comfortable hiking boot for technical mountain tours. It is built for everything from rocky terrain and steep trails to via ferrata and hut-to-hut hiking, where stability, grip, and protection are crucial. The nubuck leather upper provides high durability and comfort, while GORE-TEX ePE Extended Comfort keeps feet dry during stream crossings, wet ground, and changing weather. The lacing system is inspired by approach shoes and provides a secure, precise fit on technical trails. Underfoot, the Ortholite® Hybrid™ 5 mm footbed and CM EVA midsole provide good comfort and cushioning, while the Vibram® Megagrip™ outsole with Impact Brake System™ provides reliable grip both uphill and downhill. The Resole Platform™ insert also makes the boot repairable and resoleable, extending its lifespan without compromising performance.
